I was two years old when my Dad, Gerald A. Ripley Sr. started Ripley Construction in 1969. I have been around heavy equipment my whole life. Dad started to teach me how to operate a backhoe when I was twelve years old. I enlisted into the United States Air Force in 1986. While in the U.S.A.F. I operated and trained others to operate, heavy equipment. I also married my sweetheart Phyllis in 1987. We have two children, Heather born in 1988 and Matthew born in 1989.
I finished my four year enlistment and was Honorably Discharged in 1990. I went back to work for Dad's company, and attended college as well, receiving my Construction Management degree. In 2000, Brian M. Ripley Excavating was established. Phyllis was a LPN for twenty years and now she is Secretary/Equipment operator for our business.
Heather graduated from NDSU with a bachelor's degree in Horticulture and Landscape Design. Heather married Ben Woessner in October 2012. Matthew joined the United States Marine Corp in October 2009. He married Emily Krulikowski in January 2010 and now they have two beautiful daughters.
Our core values are God, Country, Family and Friends.
GOD
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. All things were made through Him, and without Him was nothing made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
- John 1:1-5
Jesus said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind." This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
- Matthew 22.37-39
COUNTRY
God allowed the USA to exist by the people who fought and died for the freedom that we have today! I served in the United States Air Force from 1986-1990. I am grateful and pray for all the Men and Woman who served in the U.S. Military and those who are serving today.
FAMILY & FRIENDS
God has blessed us by the family we were born into and all the friends we have. We realized how blessed we are knowing in our hearts Jesus Christ is a Great Savior, and forgave great sinners such as ourselves! We appreciate and thank God for loving us, and blessing us with family and friends.
